  The best part of this hotel (we stayed there in Nov. 2017) is the very helpful and eager-to-please front desk staff. David, in particular, could not have been more caring and helpful. The site is well located and close to the heart of Madrid, but the front entrance is hidden behind restaurants so initially not easy to find. The open-plan bathtubs and sinks are not suitable for all guests, but the room we had was otherwise comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Overall, we would be happy to stay there again if for no other reason than the front desk staff.

  They left our luggage in the lobby because our room was not ready. A MacBook laptop, my daughters ipad, prescription medication among their valuables were all taken. They told us they saw thieves see it in the security footage. It's been over a month and I haven't been reimbursed. we also were forced to go to the police station within 3 hours of arriving at the hotel.

  This was the home base for a wedding I attended, and I only had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant. But man, was the waitstaff ever so capable and professional! The cocktails were delicious, as was the food. The outdoor seating was excellent, not too noisy from the roundabout (something I was concerned with when I sat down for lunch). Highly recommend visiting.
