  Loved this boutique hotel. My room (junior suite) had a stunning circular balcony looking out at the park directly across the street. The room was huge and had fun decor. Definitely not inexpensive, but well worth it. The food was perfect and the staff friendly. No complaints about anything!

  Overall, the hotel and rooms were very nice and clean with a modern style. The room we stayed in had a Juliet style balcony. The staff was friendly and helped provide suggestions on things to do and see around the area. The location is key – the hotel is right across the street from Retiro park. The hotel provided us with bicycle rentals, free of charge which was very helpful to explore the park since it is so big! I wouldn’t recommend riding around the streets as it gets very busy and cars are speeding. The hotel is a short walk away from Starbucks, cafes and restaurants. The airport is also very close – about 20-25 minutes away. I would recommend staying here or the sister property which is located around the corner.

  Perfect location, with a stop for the hop-on, hop-off bus very close. Walking distance to many of the main attractions. The park opposite the hotel is a perfect bonus, if you want to experience Madrid like its permanent residents. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very good as was the bed and linen.

  Had a wonderful stay. Staff was extremely helpful, check-in and check-out very fast and efficient, ready to meet any requirement, offering help even if not directly asked.

  Personally I would prefer to have a gym on the premises, but having Retiro park just across the street really makes this unnecessary.

  There were no English/USA channels on the TV, and although we asked for this to be looked at, the technician could not make the TV work properly.

  Location is absolutely fabulous, right in the center, close to literally all city attractions (Prado is just around the corner).

  We were rather disappointed in the hotel, largely because the décor in the rooms was so out of keeping with the elegance of the building. Also, the shower and toilet were in little cubicles in the bedroom, and the doors did not close properly, so this compromised privacy. There was no stand for a suitcase in the room, and no easy place for a suitcase to be placed on the floor. The floor in the toilet was dusty. There was often no drinking water in the foyer, or in the room. It took about 5 minutes for the water to get hot in the shower in the early morning.
