  The staff is helpful and refreshingly fluent in English. However, make sure you have a Visa or Mastercard credit card as they don't take Amex. Also find out about the daily limitation of kilometres to avoid unpleasant surprises.

  They are a bunch of swindlers. Don't even think to hire with them and if you do so, make sure you ask for kilometer limitation and insurances in advance. I have hired many cars and many countries and this is for sure the worst experience I ever had.

  I would avoid this company at all costs! I reserved my reservation through expedia (which stated that all fees and taxes were included). Then GoldCar demanded that I pay an additional $6 for airport tax. While $6 euros is not much, I already paid everything through expedia. I kept asking what this $6 is for, and he said airport tax, and I said that's not possible. I've already paid all mandatory taxes through expedia. My rental was cheap $21, and he told me airport taxes were 8%. $6 from a $21 reservation is NOT 8%. That's more than 25%. He wouldn't give me the car unless I paid it. So I paid it. Whatever.

  I would have given 0 stars. They charged me for returning the car a little dirty 150€. That is absolutely preposterous!

  I returned the car with no damages (signed off and a copy in my hand) that everything was OK. 5 days later, I saw a charge on my credit card for $355. I don't even know what this charge is about? This company is totally fradulent!
