  Worst car rental of my life. We called to ask about extending the rental and were told it couldn't be done over the phone. What? But they assured us we'd be charged the same rate. We had to drive an hour and a half to the next city with a desk. The girl there had to make a phone call to get a quote which came back exorbitantly expensive, not at the same rate as we had been assured. So we decide to not throw good money after bad and drive another 2 1/2 hours back to Madrid, which we arrive to an hour after our scheduled return time and are charged 5 times the daily rate for another day. Thanks to these jackasses I'll never rent from a non-international company again.

  Much cheaper than other renting companies. It took us more than an hour to get our car because they didn't have it ready and they wouldn't give us one of a superior category. Personnel at the office on the ground floor was quite rude. Please note that they require a credit card on the name of the driver for the deposit. When picking up the car, an employee helped us assessing any existing damages, that's good. Returning the car was much quicker, less than 10 minutes, and again another employee helped us to assess any damages.

  Staff are sneaky morons playing fools when you pickup the car and then all of sudden they are strict cops when car is returned. They present no prior damages and you are supposed to find all of them yourself. For your objections they will say that this is the way their place operates. They pretend to collaborate with you and then they miss something 'accidentally' when documenting. When car is returned they use good lights and exercise extra care when going through the car. I had no even minor accidents with the car but end up paying 300 EUR for a scratch that was already there.

  I made a reservation from the US. The reservation included basic insurance. When I got to the pick up office in Madrid to get the car they told me I needed to get insurance and they put it like it was “mandatory” and I didn’t have any insurance. They gave me only 2 options:
