  This is the main gate to get in or leave the city centre by high speed train or AVE as they call it here. If you want to kill time take a stroll under the giant glass and metal structure and you will be surprised to discover a tropical garden filled with several thousand plants, including 260 different species from America, Asia, and Australia. If you look closer you will also find a lovely pond plenty of funny turtles.

  Amazing botanical garden inside historic train station. Major rail hub to travel to Madrid airport and other destination in Spain and Europe.

  We came here to take an AVE train to Barcelona on the first week of October 2017. The station itself was in pretty good shape and clean. There is lack of people to assist tourist. The one we meet was not very friendly and gave the impression of not being happy to be there. What gives....? just get another job....instead to annoying lost tourists who needed help.In short, please provide more friendly staff to direct tourist to the right train location. Thank you.

  This building is massive..there is a small pond inside the station and some palm tree..the staff here are very helpful.

  The dream will end when it's time to ask for assistance..no one speaks English :(
