  They also had trouble keeping the pool clean. I complained that sometimes, in the evening, the filters appeared to stop working and water would hover above the pool grates instead of draining out. Naturally, the water became cloudy when this happened. I told someone from the cleaning staff about the issue but, when there was no observable change, I went to the front desk and filled out a request form. They were supposed to contact me about whether or not the problem would be resolved but that never happened.

  Horrible place. They expect me to use the same towel for workouts and then to shower and dry. How unsanitary and disgusting. Not to mention weight room looks like my nephews play room.

  Good looking but very small gym in the city center of Madrid. Unfortunately they missed the massage appointment and only offered a 5 € compensation. Almost all showers were broken and only cold or no water was available. I don't think that I will visit this gym again.

  If the threat of being potentially groped by an employee isn't enough to turn you away, I would advise glancing over the outdated machines and lack of actual workout space before choosing this gym. Also, even though the gym closes at 11, they cut off the music, tv, and some of the lights at 10:30 ("to give people time to shower"). They don't seem to understand that the main purpose of going to the gym is to work out. That's the main service you are supposed to be paying for. You are not paying to help the employees leave the same time the customers do.

  Great gym. The expensive membership is justifiable if you want a less busy place to work out. All classes are included and the sauna, steam room and changing rooms are all well-maintained and to a high standard. You can also use other Metropolitan gyms which are bigger. Friendly staff too!

  This metropolitan is more expensive than the others...you pay extra only to attend here. Ridiculous. Gym is so tiny. Cycling class was so terrible,cold, loud and poor trainer who was staring at herself the entire time in the mirror. Spa area is the size of a shoe box and old everything. Pass this one and go to Abascal.

  A male employee made sexual advances toward me in the locker room. I provided documented evidence of the situation (via email) and said that I wasn't comfortable with returning to the gym. In response, one of the managers called me and told me that I was prohibited from returning to the gym...prohibited from returning to the place I said I wasn't comfortable going to lol. This gym is way too expensive to be so unprofessional.
