  It is free to get in although they encourage donations. It is small and compact and worth touring around. The only disappointing part is the beggars who surround the entrance who hassle you when entering and leaving.

  We were on a walking tour and had walked about 5 minutes from Puerta del Sol and came upon the Church of San Gines which is the site of one of the oldest places of Christian worship in Madrid.

  Beautiful , attended mass there today , dignified with amazing side alters and grace.

  Really nice church and on the free tour they said that there was a dead crocodile in there a long time ago .It's free to go in but they encourage you to put some Money for donations .The only problem was the beggers near the entrance
