  This shop is SO fantastic that I will say this in two languages: GO BUY WINE & HANG OUT WITH MARIO! VAYAN A ESTA TIENDA PARA COMPRAR VINO Y PARA CHARLAR CON MARIO! There is a gorgeous selection of wines and the kindest, most friendly owner ready to assist you. I want to go back just to learn more about Spanish wines. Highly recommended.

  Small shop but Mario has great knowledge of the areas wines. Also it was a plus that he spoke great English.

  Honestly this shop was amazing and the guy was so lovely and informed. I ended up buying more than I came in for because I loved it so much. One of the best places I've ever been to.

  My husband and I were on vacation in Madrid and we were walking up a street when we stumbled upon Carlota Wine Shop. It had such a distinctive look to it so we decided to venture in. We are very pleased we did. The store is not large but it makes up for it by having a very nice selection of different wines and it’s just a very beautiful stylish store. Also the owner, who took care of us, has a great personality and is very knowledgeable. He informed us that it is a family owned business which made me happy to be able to support. He took his time in helping us and explained to us the different selections of wines he had. We had a very nice time and didn’t feel rushed at all. We walked out with two very nice bottles of wine at a reasonable price and feeling delighted in the personable experience we had at Carlota Wine Shop.
