  A small museum with small collections of objects from cultures around the world. There are many better museums in Madrid to visit, though this one does offer free admission if you purchase an annual pass (which includes unlimited priority admission to the Prado and Reina Sofia). Plan forty-five minutes to an hour.

  Small museum with small cultural collections from around the world. There are far better museums in Madrid to visit - and this is coming from an anthropologist. However, they also have a rotating exhibit and recently it was photographs from Asturias during the Spanish Civil War, which were very interesting. Also look up the story of Doctor Velasco (the museum is housed in his former mansion) and his daughter that he mummified and then dug up again. Most interesting part of the building but there is no mention of it in the museum itself!

  Compact. Didn't really catch my attention but there was an interesting temporary exhibition dealing with the 1887 Philippines Exposition. Good bathrooms and pleasant staff.

  Unfortunately the museum is totally pointless due to it's absolute lack of quality exponats.
