  They played that McLachlan song Arms of the Angels which was beautiful but not the right energy....THEN....they played all the oldie goodie great hits in the background, Robbie Williams, Angels, then some feel good Aguilera, got Marvin Gaye What's Going On.... feels alot like home until you remember the menu is in Spanish and you have no idea what you ordered but you trust it will be tasty....and oh....it...WAS.

  Unexpectedly amazing and the little card for discounts just feels great to get in your heart even if you didn't order that much. First time at a vegan/vegetarian specific place in Madrid and loving the atmosphere...!

  El Vergel is one of very few vegetarian restaurant options in Madrid. The food is quite good and tastefully, decoratively served. It's location is rather hidden but excellently situated alongside Rio Manzanares and it's park. Outside terrace tables are available in good weather.
