  The best bike shop in Madrid, hands down! The staff are super friendly and their attention to detail is superb. I have to take my bike in quite regularly as I do a lot of miles and they never disappoint!

  They shop front is bright yellow so you can’t miss it, caters for everyone, it even has tools outside if you want to tighten loose nuts or just pump up your tyres.

  I recently discovered this wonderful friendly neighbourhood bike repair shop in Madrid, the shop is open 7 days a week and is located near the university and within easy access of the centre of Madrid.

  Very impressed indeed. A new road bike from Decathlon, with gear problems, had still not been sorted out by the French giant after four visits! I wouldn't have normally taken a bike there, but it was under guarantee... These guys spent considerable time sorting the problem out. As a result, I then also took my MTB in for a service. They spent time discussing what needed doing and what the options and costs were BEFORE taking the bike in for the service. I can honestly say I have never had that experience in the UK! The work was done well and was keenly priced. And at least 2 of the staff speak excellent English. Definitely my new bike shop of choice...

  The shop itself is like an Aladdin’s cage full of recycled bicycle parts from bike chain keys rings, cog wheel coasters to door mats and sophisticated lamps.

  The owner and the staff are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They repair all sorts of bikes even have a maintenance and cleaning service as well as mobile repair. They always explain everything properly and ensure they contact you before going ahead you if your bike needs a new part. The owner is extremely honest and for once I don’t feel like I am being ripped off. They even went as far as offering me a cup of coffee while I waited for my bike.

  They hire out bikes for the day at very competitive prices and I recommend you visit them if you are thinking of hiring bikes to go sightseeing around the city with the added advantage of being open on Sundays and public holidays and they speak English.

  I would definitely recommend BiciConAlas to anyone who wants good service and good advice. I took my bike to be serviced and it feels so much better afterwards. Really nice guys who work there who know their bikes! Thank you! Laura
